*COMPETITION NOW CLOSED*

The Museum of Childhood and Marsh’s Library are again teaming up to celebrate young writers with aspirations to become the next James Joyce in a short storywriting competition.

This year the theme is compassion and empathy and focuses on the idea of Leopold Bloom’s empathy with animals in Joyce’s Ullysses.

The challenge is to write a short story from the perspective of an animal.  An animal the writer knows or has had an encounter with.

Scan the QR code here or visit the Museum of Childhood’s website for all the details, terms and conditions.

Closing date: 1st June 2023
