Many Thanks to Nick Vojnovic

Nick Vojnovic
In the summer of 2024 a visitor felt that he wanted to contribute to the library’s life a bit more than a regular entry fee. Nick Vojnovic, a businessman from Florida, USA, was on holidays when he stumbled upon Ireland’s oldest public library:
“On a visit to Dublin with my family I had the opportunity to visit the wonderful Marsh Library. It was like stepping back in time to see a treasure of priceless books from hundreds of years ago all in one place. The library has such a rich history and I felt it needs to be preserved for future generations. My father instilled a love of old books in me and my children. My family is honored to contribute to help fund Marsh Library.”
Mr. Vojnovic has pledged a five-figure sum towards the conservation of our historic eighteenth-century building.
